Almost every retrofit we scope is part-funded. The explorer tracks 109 routes across ten provinces and 40 programme administrators, with the eligibility rule and the deadline stated for each one. Canadian programmes are fully catalogued; U.S. routes are researched per project, on request.

  • Save on Energy Retrofit Program — Ontario’s standing electricity incentive, paid per kWh saved. We are an approved commissioning provider under it.
  • Enbridge Commercial Custom — gas-side incentive for controls and heat-recovery work, scaled to the therms saved rather than the equipment installed.
  • CMHC deep-retrofit funding — for multi-residential and affordable housing, where the grant is scored on modelled energy and GHG reduction. $2.0M secured on one 92-unit co-operative alone.

How we work

Our four-step
method.

We examine controls and sequences before equipment. A capital project scoped inside a building whose controls are misreporting gets sized against a load profile that is itself an artefact of the fault.

Measure

Clamp-on instruments, temperature loggers and twelve months of utility data. Nothing cut or drilled, and no capital request to establish what is happening.

Diagnose

Find the gap between design intent and how the building actually runs. It is usually a sequence, a schedule or a sensor, not a machine at the end of its life.

Quantify & fund

Energy, carbon and cost, in the format the funder scores. A substantial share of the buildings we assess go on to secure retrofit funding.

Verify

Savings confirmed under IPMVP against a fitted baseline, with the confidence interval published beside the headline number.
