We leverage whole building energy modeling software to create a detailed baseline model that accurately represents the proposed building design. This baseline is then simulated against the relevant reference model to demonstrate compliance with certification standards such as OBC Supplementary Standard SB-10, LEED®, Toronto Green Standard, Save on Energy’s High-Performance New Construction (HPNC) program, and CMHC.


Our integrated design approach uses energy modeling to provide immediate, data-driven feedback on proposed design changes, ensuring that the project meets or exceeds the requirements and targets set by these certification frameworks.

  We utilize whole building energy modeling software to create a calibrated baseline model using existing utility bills that accurately represents the current energy performance of your building, incorporating local weather data. This baseline serves as the foundation for simulating the impact of proposed major energy conservation measures before any capital investments are made.


The simulation results provide clear insights into expected reductions in energy consumption, helping clients prioritize efficiency projects based on a detailed return-on-investment analysis. The energy model is valuable for evaluating large-scale retrofit projects, with support from available Energy Audit and Energy Retrofit Incentive programs to maximize client benefits.
